As a volunteer at St Richard’s Hospital, you will connect with our network of committed volunteers and staff. Duties may include the following: • Manning the Help Desk on the ground floor of the Outpatients’ Department. • Directing patients and visitors to where they need to go. • Pushing patients in wheelchairs to their destination within the hospital. • Ensuring there are always wheelchairs in the Outpatients area. • Telephoning for a taxi if requested. • Dispensing hearing aid batteries. • Liaising with the Car Park Wardens, Domestic, Estate and Portering staff. • Ensure visitors/outpatients wear a mask and use hand sanitiser on entering the hospital site.
